‘Thelonious Alone In San Francisco’ is the third solo album from legendary jazz pianist Thelonious Monk, following ‘Piano Solo’ and ‘Thelonious Himself.’ Recorded at Fugazi Hall in October 1959, the album was recorded without an audience. This new edition of the album is released as part of the Original Jazz Classics Series on 180-gram vinyl pressed at RTI with all-analog mastering from the original tapes at Cohearent Audio and presented in a Stoughton tip-on jacket.
